Houston received a Guardian Angel thanks to Angeline Auzenne founder of Bayou Belles and Beaux’s Charity Service organization (BBBCSO). . The group serves as a voice for non-profits through Public Awareness, fundraising, charity events, group volunteer manpower and a youth Mentoring program. Auzenne said; "Our purpose is to serve as an umbrella of support so to speak for the smaller non-profit organizations.”

In addition to helping any non-profit, BBBCSO has vowed to take on a primary charity each year to assist them with fundraising. The 2010 non-profit being highlighted is Texas EquuSearch; this outfit bypasses a 24 hour waiting period when someone is missing and begins searching immediately. They exist solely on donations.

The first fundraising effort of BBCSO has the community buzzing. These creative women organized Katy’s first Mardi Gras Ball to take place February 20th at The Club at Falcon Point from 7pm until midnight. Hosted in true Louisiana style, the ball will be filled with an air of excitement, elegant dining, entertainment, raffle, dancing and fun. You can meet KPRC Channel 2’s Courtney Zavala who will be serving as Queen. Tim Miller Director of Texas EquuSearch will be crowned King.

Tickets are only $50 per person. Corporate tables are available and include plaque presentation at the gala; noted private table and mention in gala program. Proceeds benefit Texas EquuSearch.
