Delisle Doherty will be climbing Mount Everest May 3-19 2010. Doherty is hoping to raise awareness for Joe Joe Bear Foundation. Joe Joe Bear Foundation gives children with Cancer and other life threatening illnesses new teddy bears, giving them comfort near by 24/7.
Doherty 50, has never climbed anything let alone a mountain. He has been training along with his son Nicolas 24 to get in shape and make it a father son journey. Drew Graham from House of Speed has donated his time to help train these men for the trip.
Along on the trip will be Everet Bear; A stuffed teddy bear. He is the Official Spokes Bear for Joe Joe Bear Foundation. He has been training hard along side the Doherty men.
