Dr. Patrick Choyce, owner of All Pets Animal Hospital, held a Ground Breaking for the new All Pets Animal Hospital located at 24221 Kingsland Blvd, Monday, April 5. Deacon Jim Hite, Epiphany of the Lord Catholic, presided over the dedication ceremony and blessing.

Participating in the ground breaking ceremony were the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and President/CEO Ann Hodges. The Dedication and Blessing Ceremony was led by Deacon Jim Hite and assisted by Gary Hennessee, Builder and President of Hennessee builders, Mrs. Ann Glasser, All Pets Animal Hospital's first client, Guy Perez, brother-in-law of Dr. Choyce, Phil Choyce, brother of Dr. Choyce, Bob Hartzell, lifelong friend of Dr. Choyce and Dave Clark, High School Youth Minister, Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church.

All Pets Animal Hospital opened in March of 1990 at 959 South Mason Road. In 1995, they met the high quality standards to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and have been an accredited practice every year since. Only 15% of animal hospitals in North America are accredited by AAHA.
The new 8000 square foot building will double the space they currently have. A second floor will allow for future expansion. the new facility is designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as a pet ages, and complete medical and surgical rehabilitation care as necessary during the pet's lifetime. Boarding for pets especially those with special needs will be provided along with grooming services for pets staying at the hospital. The new state-of-the-art building will enhance their ability to be a full service companion animal hospital.
All Pets Animal Hospital's mission is to "treat your pet with the same love and quality care we would our own." Team members are carefully selected and trained. "Team members are 99% of our success in fulfilling our mission," states Dr. Choyce. "They consist of friendly and caring pet owners who chose veterinary medicine and pet care because they want to help pets and people. this allows the doctors to focus their attention on each individual pet and their owners."
