A Unique Drop-In Child Care & Entertainment Center

Dana Oliver founder of Adventure Kids Playcare is scheduled to open her newest location right here in Katy. The center will be located in the Villagio Center at the
corner of Peek and Westheimer Parkway. The physical address will be 22762 Westheimer Parkway, Suite 455.
Dana adopted her daughter while working as a financial advisor and quickly learned that being in the corporate world and a mother would be a huge challenge. Finding good quality child care is sometimes a daunting and difficult task; most childcare centers close early in the evening which is not always conducive to the corporate
business world. And finding reliable babysitting on the
weekends has turned into frustration as teenagers find they don't have the time or need to work on the weekends. Dana thought there must be so many other families out there that were in the same situation. Dana launched Adventure Kids Playcare in 2004 in Dallas and began franchising the concept two years later. Adventure Kids Playcare is a drop-in child-care and entertainment center which provides a fun and safe environment for kids and convenience for parents. The centers are open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. during the week and until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. Adventure Kids Playcare is designed for kids ages 6 weeks - 12 years old (with a separate play areas for kids under 4 years old) and has a large playscape, playhouses, video and computer games, karaoke, air hockey, ping pong, and a calendar of activities that includes games, crafts and theme nights. Adventure Kids can also come to your event with "Playcareto-go" which provides childcare at weddings, parties, and corporate events. Private themed birthday parties are also held on Sundays. The Dallas-based Adventure Kids has expanded to 9 locations in Texas and Seattle and will be opening the 10th in August in Bethesda, MD. Dana says that the nature of the franchise allows her to spend time with her daughter and still grow the business.
Adventure Kid's Katy location will feature something new. A coffee/Wi-Fi lounge where parents can relax, meet friends or hold a business meeting while their children can be having fun right next door. This creates a great
opportunity for Real Estate Agents, Corporate Executives;
or Mompreneurs who need a few hours to focus on their work. The lounge is also available on evenings and weekends for baby showers, parties, wine tastings, or a Moms Group get-together.
