Katy Kids Help Beat the Heat with Sno Cone Stand

On Thursday, August 5th at 3:15pm, a new business opened in Katy at Cinco Ranch's Lake Pointe Park (located at the corner of Rivergreen Park and Cinco Ranch Boulevard), offering refreshing Sno Cones, Lemonade and Cookies.
Cole Guest, and his best buddy, Christian McCool, have been planning this business venture for months. With help from his father, Cole built the stand using Grandma's old discard entertainment center, painting it a sparkly white and adding colorful and graphically-appealing signage. Moms Nikki Guest and Tami McCool supervised nearby and provided a short break-time for the hardworking fellows.
No Sno Cone stand could be complete without the official "cookie-taster", so Cole's little brother, Anderson, was more than happy to help out. The boys' new business was a big hit with neighbors, friends, and even a few local ducks.
Perhaps Cole's entrepreneur skills have been inspired and honed by his own father, Emory Guest of Cinco Ranch Financial, which is located in the LaCenterra Shopping Center and provides financial planning, insurance options and wealth management services.
